Atlanta, GA – DT Connector Site of Injury Auto Accident at I-75/85
Atlanta, GA (December 4, 2021) – At 12:00 p.m. on the afternoon of Saturday, December 4, a multi-vehicle collision occurred on a highway in Atlanta.
According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of the Downtown Connector around the area of I-75/85. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other. One of the vehicles sustained severe rear-end damages and had to be removed from the scene by tow trucks.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured in the collision. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Their conditions are not known at this time.
Due to the severity of the accident, all lanes of traffic were blocked for some time. Police worked to clear debris off the roadway, which took several hours.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
