Atlanta, GA (September 6, 2021) – An automobile accident reported in the Woodstock area ended in injuries. At around 1:11 p.m., on September 6, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Interstate 575.
Reports from local authorities show that a crash between vehicles blocked the southbound side of Interstate 575 in the area of Town Lake Parkway by Exit 8. The incident caused delays throughout the area as crews worked to clear the left side of the road.
Emergency medical services responded to the scene to render aid to victims. At least one person was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
