Chickamauga, GA – Tractor-Trailer Crash at Chickamauga Rd & Lee Ave
Chickamauga, GA (December 1, 2021) – On Wednesday night, December 1, a tractor-trailer crash occurred at an intersection in Chickamauga.
According to Chickamauga officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Chickamauga Road and Lee Avenue. A tractor-trailer was traveling in the area when it collided with a passenger vehicle due to reasons that are not yet known at the intersection. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not known at this time.
Due to the severity of the accident, a large portion of the intersection was blocked for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
