College Park, GA – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-285 Near Riverdale Rd
College Park, GA (November 28, 2021) – At 4:35 p.m. on the afternoon of Sunday, November 28, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries occurred in College Park.
According to Fulton County officials, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of I-285 around the area of exit 60, Riverdale Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured victims were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
Two right lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for an extended period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
