Ft Oglethorpe, GA – Three-Vehicle Collision with Injuries on Battlefield Pkwy
Fort Oglethorpe, GA (March 19, 2023) – Around 5:30 p.m. on the evening of Saturday, March 18, a three-vehicle crash with injuries occurred in Fort Oglethorpe.
According to Catoosa County officials, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of Battlefield Parkway near the area of O’Charleys restaurant. Police confirmed that three vehicles became involved in a rear-end collision in the area due to reasons that are still under investigation. One of the vehicles, identified as a black sedan, sustained severe rear-end damages as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other local responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more parties were hurt as a result of the accident. The injured parties were treated on scene by EMS crews and then taken to local hospitals for further treatment.
The roadway was blocked in several lanes of traffic for an extended period of time. Police worked to clear the scene as quickly as possible so traffic could resume as normal.
