Macon, GA – Rollover Accident at Second St & Hemlock Ave Intersection
Macon, GA (November 2, 2021) – Around noon on Tuesday, November 2, a rollover accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Macon.
According to Bibb County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Second Street and Hemlock Avenue. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. A white SUV immediately flipped over onto its side following the collision.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. The driver of the SUV, who has not yet been identified, had to be extricated from their vehicle by fire crews. They were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
