Perry, GA (April 4, 2023) – A man was killed in a fatal motorcycle accident that took place in Perry on the night of Tuesday, April 4.
According to Perry Police Department officials, the accident happened on Langston Road in the area of Sugar Creek Trail and Lake Joy Road. Police confirmed that the accident, which took place at 9:30 p.m., involved a motorcyclist and a pickup truck. The drivers of both vehicles collided due to reasons that are not yet known, leading to severe damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and several other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. The motorcyclist, who has since been identified as a 36-year-old man, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene due to traumatic injuries. Nobody else was hurt as a result of the collision.
A large portion of the area was blocked off following the accident until police cleared the scene. This led to delays in the area for some time.
