Tucker, GA – Rollover Accident on I-285 Near GA-78 Leads to Injuries

Tucker, GA (November 11, 2021) – At 10:31 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, November 11, a rollover accident with injuries occurred on a major highway in Tucker.

According to police, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-285 around the area of Highway 78. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other. One of the vehicles rolled over immediately following the collision. The vehicles involved in the accident were severely damaged as a result.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured victims were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.

Due to the severity of the collision, two right lanes of traffic were blocked for some time. This led to extensive delays in the area.

No further details have been released but the investigation into the accident continues.
